Classic Slaw with Honey Mayonnaise

YIELD: 4 Servings 


  • 3 cups green cabbage, cored and thinly sliced into strips
  • 1/4 cup carrots, peeled and thinly sliced into strips
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp. honey
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste


  1. Combine the cabbage and carrots in a bowl and chill in refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  2. Combine mayonnaise and honey in a bowl and stir well.
  3. Add the honey mayonnaise to the cabbage and carrots and toss.
  4. Season to taste with the salt and pepper.
  5. Cover the classic slaw and refrigerate until serving.
