INGREDIENTS:
- 1/2 cup Roma tomatoes, cut in 1/4″ dice
- 1/4 cup red onions, peeled and cut in 1/4″ dice
- 2 tsp. jalapeño pepper, cut in ¼’ dice
- 4 tsp. lime juice, fresh squeezed
- 2 tsp. cilantro, cleaned and freshly chopped
- 2 tbsp. mayonnaise
- 4 Holten’s PARTY PACK Beef Patties (frozen)
- 4 hamburger rolls, cut in half
- 8 slices white cheddar cheese
- 1 cup iceberg lettuce, shredded
- 4 cilantro sprigs
DIRECTIONS:
- Preheat grill to 350 degrees.
- While grill is heating, prepare the pico de gallo in a small bowl by tossing together the tomato, red onion, jalapeño and chopped cilantro with 2 tsp. of the lime juice; chill in refrigerator.
- Prepare the lime mayonnaise by mixing the mayonnaise and the remaining lime juice in a small bowl; chill in refrigerator.
- Put the frozen patties on the grill. Once juices come to the top, it’s ready to flip.
- While the Holten’s PARTY PACK Beef Patties are grilling, lightly toast rolls on grill with cut sides down.
- Remove rolls from the grill and place a bed of lettuce on the bottom half of each.
- Place the hot and juicy grilled beef patties on top of the lettuce.
- Top each burger with the cheese slices and then the pico de gallo.
- Drizzle the pico de gallo with the lime mayonnaise, and top each with a fresh cilantro sprig.
- Top each burger with the roll top and serve.
